An Alternative Thrift Shopping Experience for Lagosians
Imagine a thrift store that doubles as an exhibition; No cluttered racks, no piles to dig through… just a selection of stylish items coupled with good music, a well-designed space, and an ambience that makes you want to indulge.
On Sunday, December 10, 2017, Thrift Projects will be hosting its first shopping experience at A Whitespace Creative Agency. Going back to the idea of sustainable fashion and the movement to reduce, reuse, and recycle, the pop-up is designed to exhibit and sell a carefully-curated selection of pre-owned items while celebrating style as a medium of self expression.
We know thrifting can be exhausting, finding great pieces take forever, and it’s almost impossible to have a pleasant shopping experience at any Nigerian market.
We’ve decided to provide an alternative, using spatial design as a tool. We are transforming the entire process of thrift shopping into an experience that appeals to almost all five of the shoppers senses through music, photographs, scent and most importantly, curated stylish pieces that are actually affordable.
We’ve said it before, “Start building your 2018 wardrobe here. You’ll save a lot!”
Date: Sunday, December 10, 2018.
Venue: Whitespace, 58, Raymond Njoku Street, Off Awolowo Road, Ikoyi, Lagos.
Time: 11am – 7pm
The Pop-Up Exhibition is proudly supported by Y Naija, Kamdora, Farabale, Ndani Lifestyle, Konbini, SPACE.ng, and Nothing To Do In Lagos.
