8 Artistes to Expect at DRB’s 2015 concert

The Double R Boys are back this year with their annual concert. This year they have interesting performances with the top of the crop set to storm the stage. With hits like Toyin, Amebo amongst others, DRB is set to shutdown Lagos one more time. Tickets can be bought at Harbour Point, Victoria Island. Trust us on this one – You do not want to miss it.

Asides DRB, here are 8 headliners that will perform at the concert.

1. Olamide

The baddest of them all, Olamide will be performing at this year’s DRB concert. Shakiti Bobo is easily in the running for the top song of the year, while Lagos Boys is fast becoming an anthem for the city. You’re not the only one that has “Sneh” at the end of your Twitter name.

2. Falz

Falz the bahd guy is his full stage name(no kidding). Falz has had tremendous success this year with hits like Ello Bae and Marry Me on the Stories That Touch album. Falz’s special blend of Yoruba slang and accents make him forever funny. I mean, just listen to Karashika.

3. Ice Prince

Ice Prince Zamani post-oleku has become one of Africa’s most sought after artistes. His brilliant mix of rhymes and fast tempo beats gives him a unique style that no other rapper on the continent can match. Ice Prince hit us with this year.

4. Lil Kesh

It’s YBNL all up in the building. We were still trying to recover from Shoki and Lil Kesh hit us with Efejoku. Lil Kesh infuses local dialects with intensely upbeats to drive his point home. Just ask Aunty Sibi.

5. Seyi Shay

The Internet was abuzz with gist about the cover of Seyi Shay’s album name and cover. Was it good or nah? Turns out you should never judge a book by its cover. Seyi Shay’s album was one of the dopest Nigerian albums this year.

6. Runtown

Runtown had a great run this year(pun intended LOL). From last year’s hits with Phyno, he moved up the game in his collaboration with M.I on Bullion Van. He even moved out of the country and made this Banger with South Africa’s Uhuru.

7. D-O
Pretty boy D-O is a Nigerian artist with a new sound. He clearly will be one of the biggest names in the industry in the future. Catch him at the DRB Concert for an energy filled performance like you’ve never seen. From gidiguide, we dey Bance e.

8. Ayo Jay

Ayo Jay came up this year with a remix with Fetty Wap. Don’t forget – Ayo Jay’s available is still banging in the clubs and the ladies love him.
